Comfort and Luxury. Springfontein House is graded a 3-star guesthouse by The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Springfontein House is also in the Portfolio Collection and rated Great Comfort and Luxury.

As is appropriate in a guesthouse of our standing, all bedrooms in Springfontein Guesthouse are fitted with their own Television, Fan, Wall Heater, Air-conditioning and En-suite facilities.

Luxury en suite rooms
In the bedrooms, the comfy beds have crisp linen, plump pillows. Outside, white walls dazzle and creepers climb over the veranda. Adding to the interest of the obviously well-loved property, is a bricked patio, captivating and colourful flower-beds abounding in the garden. Something to be welcomed in Free State summers is our crystal clear swimming pool. Adding to the overall sense of peace and tranquillity is our series of fishponds. But obviously, the reason you come here is to be looked after, and arriving from the biscuity veld, you’ll feel lucky indeed.

Of the five good-sized bedrooms, the Green Room, Blue Room and the Pink Room are attached to the main house but each has its own private entrance.

In the Green Room, adjacent to the front door, pride of place is a queen bed with en-suite shower. The room has a delightful view of the front garden and veranda on which to sit and relax.

The Blue Room is similarly equipped with two single twin beds and en-suite shower. You enter the room from a veranda on the side of the main house and you look over a quiet rear garden.

The Pink Room, on the other hand, has twin beds and an en-suite bath with a hand held shower. Its entrance is at the back of this garden. It also has an entrance into the main part of the house.

Garden cottage
In a charming garden cottage are our two other bedrooms: The Coral Room and the Yellow Room.

Both rooms are large and both have full bathrooms, with baths and separate showers. The Coral Room has a queen bed and the Yellow Room has twin 3/4 beds.

Regretfully we are normally unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age.
